Ultimate Bloody Mary With Cheese Pairings
The bloody mary is the ultimate savory cocktail—spicy, umami-packed, and so satisfying. A good one should be punchy yet balanced with a blend of horseradish, Worcestershire, tomato, and, of course, vodka. Our Ultimate Bloody Mary has all of that and more, with the addition of Singapore-inspired sambal for a unique kick. We also raided the Murray's pantry for garnishes (the best brunch bloody mary is almost more meal than cocktail). Ranch-stuffed olives, pickled asparagus, salami, and more, plus cheese pairings that are robust enough to stand up to the bold flavors.

Build the skewers: Create two olive skewers with three olives on each. On the remaining two skewers, alternate the Peppadews with slices of Spianata Piccante (folded in half crosswise then rolled). Set aside.
Make the cocktail: Squeeze the lemon and lime into a cocktail shaker. Add the remaining cocktail ingredients and several ice cubes; shake for 20-30 seconds.
Strain into two glasses, and top with fresh ice. Split the garnishes between the two glasses.
