The Mezze Cheese Board


This abundant spread lets you travel across the Mediterranean with every bite. There’s lots of cheese to discover—satisfying Cypriot halloumi and two treasures from Spain. Plus, the best briny, creamy, spicy pairings like spicy salami, Spanish olives, stuffed grape leaves, and red pepper spread. This versatile board can be appetizer, lunch, or dinner, especially with the added falafel, and if there are any leftovers (not likely!) they’re perfect wrapped up in a pita.

preparation & ingredients

1 ea. Halloumi

1/2 lb. Mitica® Leonora® a Fuego

1/2 lb. Murray's Young Manchego

1 ea. Brooklyn Cured Sliced Spicy Beef Salami, 3 oz.

1 ea. The Spotted Trotter Sliced Bresaola, 3 oz.

Tzatziki (store-bought or homemade)

1 ea. Losada Carmona Olive Mix, 12 oz.

1 ea. Dolmas, Stuffed Grape Leaves, 8.8 oz.

1 ea. Bello Rustico Crostini, 7 oz.

1 ea. Mt. Vikos Red Pepper And Feta Spread, 7.7 oz.

Slice the halloumi and pan-fry until brown.
Cut the Manchego into long triangular slices.
Cut the Leonora® a Fuego into rectangular slices.
