Baked Feta Dip

Want a bright, creamy, springtime dip in just minutes? This easy feta creation is the perfect party-pleaser and requires just a few simple ingredients. We’re using Murray’s feta, an authentic Greek selection with zesty notes of citrus, and combining that with premium Italian olive oil and Italian acacia honey for a Mediterranean blend that will transport your taste buds to a picnic on a sunny seaside. Serve this one up with crackers or toasted pita, or even some fresh vegetables like cherry tomatoes and peppers.

preparation & ingredients

1/2 cup Murray's Italian EVOO 750ML

Pita bread (cut into triangles and toasted)

Fresh ground black pepper

1 Pack Murray's Feta Cup

2 Tbsp. Mitica Acacia Honey

Fresh Thyme

Cherry or grape tomatoes

Sliced cucumbers

Preheat oven to 400F. Meanwhile, lightly toast pita bread and transfer the feta into a small earthenware dish or ovenproof pan.
Cover the feta with olive oil and bake in the oven about 8 minutes, until the cheese is springy to the touch but not melted.
Preheat a boiler or set the oven to broil. Meanwhile, melt the honey in the microwave or over a pan of simmering water.
When the honey is fluid, spread it over the top of the feta with a pastry brush, and put the feta in the broiler.
Broil the feta until the top of the cheese has browned and begins to bubble. Season to taste with black pepper, garnish with thyme, and serve with bread.
