Traditional milk chocolate bars have a lower cocoa bean content than dark varieties—usually under 60%. At 51%, Ranger’s milk chocolate is higher than more conventional varieties, ensuring the cacao flavor isn’t overwhelmed by milk and sugar.
Ranger sources cacao beans to ensure they’re fair trade (or better), organic, and grown using sustainable methods.

Ranger Chocolate Co. was founded by George Domurot and David Beanland in 2013 in the Central Eastside neighborhood of Portland, Oregon.
With a mission to create chocolate using only organic and fair trade (or better) ingredients, the founders’ visited Peru in 2014 where they met with cacao farmers to choose the origin and type of beans they’d use in their chocolate.
Their bean-to-bar chocolate is made in their Portland factory, from roasting the beans to hand-wrapping the bars.
