A traditional Austrian street food, käsekrainer is a plump pork sausage studded with Emmentaler cheese and smoked over apple wood. Once warmed through and lightly crisped, each sausage yields a gooey, melted cheese interior and a blend of sweet and smoky flavor. Emmentaler, an Alpine cheese, adds a touch of toasty, nutty undertones to the succulent pork. Try these sausages with roasted vegetables and a German ale.
